Facebook Professional Dashboard was launched in December 2021. The Professional Dashboard is designed to make it easy for creators. It has many functionalities to manage your page, see analytics, and create ads, making everything easy because of the Professional Dashboard.
From my experience, after you create a page for your business or any other reason, click on the Professional Dashboard (which will appear by default after creating a social page). It gives a few recommendations which you have to follow. After following that step, I recommend signing up with Instagram and WhatsApp for your business. If you cannot open WhatsApp, that’s also fine, but it will be good if you at least open an Instagram account for your business. The reason I am telling you this is that you can connect your Instagram account and Facebook account together in the Meta Business Suite (For the Meta Business Suite, I have another blog if you are not sure what that is), which will help you later on to grow your audience and engage more.
In the Professional Dashboard, there are a few tools which you need to look at as your page is fresh and no visitors are there. The first and foremost job is to:
• Invite friends to follow so that it will help increase your brand awareness.
• You can easily link your account to other accounts like WhatsApp or Instagram.
• Easily manage your page access to anyone you want. As you created the page, you will be the admin; however, if you want to give more access depending on the role, you can do that as well. You can easily manage someone by giving specific task access.
• Doing ads from the Ads Centre to grow your audience. Now, the Professional Dashboard has the ability to run ads more easily, and anyone who is a beginner on this can run ads. But I don’t recommend running ads from there as you cannot do detailed targeting as it can be done from the Ads Manager (I will publish another blog related to the Ads Manager).
• The Professional Dashboard has added another new feature called A/B testing. A/B testing means when you upload a post with this setting based on whichever is performing well, Meta will show that post for you to reach more audience. Basically, you have the option to post either you can duplicate and change the image or text or create a completely new post. You can set it up for your ads as well.
• You can manage your comments from the dashboard as well, which will help save some time. You don’t need to go to each post and reply to comments.
• The Professional Dashboard has an amazing feature called moderator assistance. Here you can set criteria based on your likes or needs. For example, if you want to manage who can comment on posts or who can read and write, etc., it can be done from here as well.
That’s pretty much about the Professional Dashboard. I thought these topics you need to know about that I have just covered. Also, you can see all your content and your audience from one place on that particular tab. There is also help and guidelines for your page setup, which will help you complete the setup.
