On-Page and Off-Page Optimisation is basically a part of SEO. It helps to increase traffic. The reason it is called on and off page is because on page is related to interlinking within your website and off page is the opposite of that. This means the traffic is coming from outside places to your website.
SEO is an inevitable tool and one of the top in digital marketing. Nowadays the competition is so high that without SEO running the website will be hard. In SEO there are many categories and from them is On-Page and Off-Page SEO.
On-Page Optimisation:
- Keyword Research: For SEO the first thing you need to do is keyword research. This is basically the first step to do On-Page Optimisation. You have to do very deep research on keywords to identify which words have the potential to rank higher. Then find the proper place where you can place this keyword. Placement can be in the content, On the Meta Description, or on the Heading.
- Relevant Content: When your keyword research is done based on your website model, provide valuable content which can be useful for others rather than providing general information. Make sure your content length is good enough. After providing the content, make sure you promote your content on Social Media.
- Proper Heading: When you write your content, make sure you put proper heading tags. This will increase SEO visibility. Again, it will increase the beauty of your content.
- Internal Links: Interlinking is mostly used in On-Page Optimisation. In your website, you can interlink one page to another page of your website to increase your navigation, which again improves the navigation of your pages.
Off-Page Optimisation:
- Backlink builder: For SEO, backlinks play a vital role in digital marketing. They help to bring the traffic from another website to your website. Also, Google sets its crawlers to see if any link is not rich or has some issues they remove it, even if sometimes the link is fine. So if you have good backlinks, then it cannot remove your link.
- Social Media Engagement: Social Media is now the biggest platform to grow your business by potentially promoting your website. Consistency in your posts and ads and keeping connected with social media trends will bring up the customers.
- Reviews: For SEO, reviews work like a face. Nowadays, people search something and the first thing they check is how many reviews they have got. Good reviews give good results.
- Track your audience: To track your visitors, you can set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track your audience and see your potential revenue. Also, you can do local SEO by creating Google My Business where people can see how many Google reviews you have got, where you are located, and other information related to business.
So On-Page and Off-Page both are required for your business and you have to make it balanced. You cannot prioritise one over the other. While doing SEO, you have to check as well if your website responsiveness is good. You have to keep an eye on that because it happened to me as well that from your side you made it responsive but from other devices, it is not aligned.
So make sure your website is responsive, keywords are ranking, your backlinks have not broken links, etc. After doing all of this, you will start getting returns from it.
